The National
Museum of Women in the Arts with Girl Scouts of the USA have established a National
Arts Initiative. AGSC offers two programs to help Girl Scouts explore the
work and contributions of women in the arts and to achieve art-related Girl
Scout badges.
Discovering
Art: A Museum Guide for Girl Scouts – Designed for Brownie and
Junior levels, the 23-page, full-color, self-guiding tour of the visual
arts focuses on women artists, and introduces Girl Scouts to various types
of art.
Project
Pathways workbooks for Brownie, Junior, and Cadette
& Senior Girl Scouts help fulfill Try-its, Badges, or Interest Project
requirements with an emphasis on women artists, with information and
activities for Girl Scouts to explore the world of art.
