Camping
is a great way to build new skills, get a sense of community and develop a
deep appreciation for nature. Going for a day, a weekend or longer, as a
Girl Scout troop, with a caring female adult or as a Juliette, girls have
an opportunity to develop self-reliance, explore and have fun.

Angeles
Girl Scout Council offers many outdoor experiences for all levels of
experience, including first timers. All age-appropriate programs
incorporate opportunities to work on Girl Scout achievement projects
(badges, patches, etc.). Chief among them is our four-season beloved
ACA-Accredited Camp Osito Rancho in Big Bear Lake

Southern
California's geographically diverse environment - from the ocean side and
offshore islands to the high and low deserts, from the great mountains to
the coastal / hills - offers Girl Scouts enormous opportunities to explore
the natural world and themselves and to engage in exciting community
service projects. Campers eat most meals together family style, with taking
turns hopping and setting tables.

Girl Scout Adult
Volunteers are encouraged to become trained in camping skills so that you can
take your Girl Scouts on outdoor adventures. Training takes place in the
"city" and outdoors, including Camp Osito
Rancho in Big Bear.
