Math = FUN
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to help girls explore the fascinating worlds of STEM -- science,
technology, engineering, and math.
Angeles Council has created GESS (Girl Scouts
Exploring the Solar System) and lots of “in-a-box” science, math, and tech
program kits to lend. Plus, there are plenty of programs and recognition
award projects that involve math, science and technology; like these:

Girls Go Tech is a Girl Scout web-based activity
source that encourages girls to develop an early interest in math, science,
and technology.

Girl Scouts Exploring the
Solar System (GESS) partners NASA and the Girl Scouts of the USA in
inspiring young women to pursue careers in science, technology and
mathematics and to help engage girls' exploration of space.

Angeles Girl Scout
Council has many exciting STEM in-a-box project kits that are available for loan
(costs range from free to nominal fees) to Girl Scout troops. The age-appropriate program and activity boxes include all needed materials. Reserve a
