Angeles Girl Scout Council receives no annual funding from Girl Scouts of the USA or from allocations by United Way of Greater Los Angeles. For more Funding FAQs, click here.

Angeles Girl Scout Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Donations may be made at any time of the year via cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard) and can be noted in your tax return. There are many ways to show your support.

Angeles Council also accepts donations of liquid assets (i.e. stocks, bonds, securities, etc.), life insurance and bequests from trusts, foundations, etc. Please contact AGSC's Development Department via phone 310 450-3720 xt. 210 or by e-mail (put Donation in the subject)

Celebrate Your Girl Scout Legacy and Honor Inspiring Volunteers!

 

Girl Scout achievements are reasons to celebrate and to support the Council. Whether it's a Brownie Fly-Up, a Senior's Gold Award or a Volunteer Honor Roll* "thanks" to an inspiring Girl Scout Adult Leader or in memory of a sister Girl Scout from your childhood, a financial donation the Council is always appropriate. We'll send an acknowledgement to the honoree or family as well. It's a great way to recognize role the Council plays in insuring that we're "Girl Scouts Together". Girl Scout Troop "Donation Ditty Bag"

When Girl Scout register* as members each year, it's a great time to make a donation to Angeles Girl Scout Council. One check payable to AGSC goes to Girl Scouts of the USA for membership. Please a second check in the Donation Ditty Bag" for a donation to the Council.

Remember:

Angeles Girl Scout Council turns 100% of the membership funds over to GSUSA. Membership fees are not tax-deductible. We receive no annual financial support from GSUSA.

Matching Gifts

Your Employer May Double Your Donation to AGSC!

Local corporations are proud of their employees' who donate funds and/or "sweat equity" (i.e. volunteer effort) to Angeles Girl Scout Council, whether as a troop leader or trainer. Many want to honor this commitment by matching the effort with a donation to the Council. Other companies may have employee community charitable campaigns / support groups through which donations to Angeles Council may be made. Please contact your HR department for more information. It's easy and you can double your donation to Girl Scouts in our community. Angeles Girl Scout Council is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation and will fill out appropriate paperwork.

Angeles Girl Scout Council offers our corporate sponsors attractive packages of recognition in thanks for your financial support, beginning at $1000 per year. Opportunities include sponsorship of Awards Ceremonies and other Annual and Special Gatherings, as well as topical programs, such as our S.T.E.M. activities and outreach to low income families, Neighborhood Services, adult development, etc. The Council also applies for and receives grants from non-governmental foundations.

Recognize our Girl Scouts' Contributions to Our Community Through Volunteer Service

Angeles Girl Scout Council accepts donations of any amount - cash, Visa or MasterCard, checks -- throughout the year. Gifts recognize Girl Scouts' contributions to community life through volunteer service, including "building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place," our mission.. Donations provide much needed general support of our operations, facilities and programs from individuals, businesses and organizations. Our Annual Report lists individual donations ($500 or more) and business donations ($1000 or more). Special focused donations may be made only after consultation with AGSC's Development Office.
